Bradford County Fire Rescue’s Community Paramedicine Program, launched in May 2024 through the use of opioid abatement funds, is committed to improving the health and well-being of our residents through proactive, non-emergency healthcare services available 24/7. This innovative program was created to address critical health challenges in our community, including substance abuse recovery, chronic disease management, and injury prevention.
Our team provides round-the-clock assistance to patients, focusing on improving quality of life through personalized care, fall prevention strategies, and comprehensive support for overcoming substance dependency. By collaborating with local healthcare providers and connecting individuals with vital resources, we aim to reduce hospital visits, promote long-term wellness, and build a healthier, safer community. Through its focus on opioid recovery and prevention, this program is making a meaningful and lasting impact for those who need it most.
